Still trying to decide what to be when I grow up, but for the meantime I've started a radio station with a couple of friends. Check it out!

Is that a Rose of Sharon? The photograph is beautiful. Love the wispy quality. I planted fall annuals today and expected that digging in the dirt and holding flowers would lift a foul mood. It didn't. Some days are like that. Sounds like you're having some of those too.
Hey, thanks for the phone call. It feels decidedly weird being on the phone and online with you at the same time. Like we're sitting in the same room when we're, well, not.
I can't decide which photo I like better. This one reminds me of a ballet skirt for some reason.
It is! It was taken soon before the fateful idiot conversation that I tweeted about. In looking through the photographs of the day, it helped to remind me that there were some things that were untouched by ugliness. I think that is what I love about nature. No matter what is going on in the world, there are simple things that can bring us joy. Whew I'm getting way too philosophical. :)
I have had some of those days lately. I think sometimes you need to get mad/sad/angry. I'm trying to balance that with looking for things that are beautiful. I'm finding that, most of the time, it's nature. I'm goung to try and capture that wondrous beauty more often. :)
